Arising out of the elements that drew musician Yiyi Orozco and dancer Ela Razon together - the rhythms, sound, and movement of the age-old yet constantly evolving art form of flamenco - SonDeBaril creates an opening where a multitude of raw emotions are invited and allowed, inspiring audiences with the transformative power of flamenco performance.
SonDeBaril’s commitment to nurturing flamenco and expanding its presence in the Washington DC–Maryland–Virginia region is rooted in deep collaboration, community, and a lifelong devotion to the form - creating work that is
